Chalet Maldonado
In 2009 David moved to Guatemala and acquired 2 acres of lake front property from his father. This land was on beautiful Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. He quickly began the process of developing the property into a vacation rental and investment property for his family, which took over seven years. This was all done in David’s secondary language of Spanish.
During the construction process David learned how to navigate international property development. He worked closely with construction workers, carpenters, metal workers, real-estate developers, lawyers, accountants, architects, interior designers, and landscape designers in order to design and manage a one-of-a-kind estate. This has provided him with a truly unique learning experience which he brings to the table with any real estate transaction.
